BMX Forks
BMX forks, the double pronged section of the bike which holds the front wheel, range in price from as low as $25 to as high as $300 or more. High-end lightweight racing forks can be made from multi-thousand thread count carbon fiber weave whereas more low-end basic forks can be composed of heat-treated chromoly tubing. BMX forks are threaded, more popular are threadless. When installing your forks make sure your headsets are fully sealed. Also make sure when you are tightening the compression and stem bolts make sure your bars are straight with the wheel and not crooked. If you find that your forks get too tight to the point you cannot move it, then you will have to probably loosen the compression bolt but not too much or your forks will wobble.
